The College Completion Innovation Fund (CCIF) is a collaborative fund developed and managed by Graduate NYC, established in 2015 to spur innovation and the adoption of policies and practices to increase college degree completion in New York City. The CCIF has invested nearly $1.3 million to support projects that aim to significantly improve student completion outcomes. These grants have been made to New York City-based undergraduate colleges and nonprofit community-based organizations (CBOs). A majority of the students served by these projects are low-income students and all projects serve low-income students, first-generation college students, students of color, and others who are traditionally underrepresented among college degree holders.
The 2018 Grantmaking Cycle is now open. To help build capacity and encourage greater innovation among education and nonprofit organizations, the CCIF will sponsor a two-step grantmaking process. Please click here to learn more about the 2018 application process.
GNYC is still accepting new investors for the 2018 Grantmaking Cycle. To learn more about becoming an investor in the Fund, contact Melissa Herman. The first report of the CCIF will be issued later in early 2018.
