Graduate NYC has embarked upon curriculum alignment work with its DOE and CUNY partners through three different projects beginning in 2011. This work aspires to bridge the challenging transition from high school to college by providing opportunities for high school teachers and college faculty to work together.

NYC Collaborative Curriculum Revision Project

The number of students entering college in need of remediation is one of several strong indicators of the need for improved alignment between high school and college curriculum. GNYC, in partnership with the DOE-CUNY Library Collaborative and with funding from the Teagle Foundation, developed the NYC Collaborative Curriculum Revision Project (CCRP) to address this gap. The CCRP brings together educators serving similar student populations on either side of the high school/college divide to align curricula and improve teaching and learning.
